Torchlilies are easy to grow in the garden, so long as the soil is well-drained, particularly in winter. Plants form big clumps of grassy leaves that remain evergreen in milder regions. This selection has spikes that are flame-orange at the top and creamy at the base, with a tendency to repeat bloom reliably. Flowers are attractive to hummingbirds and great for cutting. Drought tolerant, once established. Clumps may be divided every 3 to 4 years in the spring.
